Ladies, I know we say, “Oh this is the happiest time of the Year!”, but really?  We do LOVE our shopping for the perfect gift for the perfect person, but what really is it all about?

            Let’s see, we have “Midnight Specials”,” 4:00a.m. Deals”, “Must-Have” Bargains of the YEAR and everything else on-line we could ever think of including free shipping to our front door!  We are inundated with everyway known to mankind to spend our hard earned cash!!!  Yes, I am a shopaholic too and can admit it, but really, what about investing?  Is it really all about CHARGING?

            I think a truly serious Fashion Diva can have it all , shopping and savings, it just has to be done all within a budget!  Yes, I did say “BUDGET”, sometimes it can be taken as a very scary term.  Unbelievable as it may seem, I am even giving one of my closest friends a lifetime  membership to attend a “Dave Ramsey” course, and even might go as far to extend it to other family members who are now just starting their families!  Yes, this does sound crazy coming from one of the best shoppers around, but really, what matters at the end of the day?

            I know if I can manage my own personal shopping, that might mean only shopping at the very lowest prices and only during specific times of the year, it is possible for others to do it too!  Kind of like having your cake and eating it too, right?  I may be addicted to shopping, but I also want to end up financial secure in the end, otherwise, is it all REALLY worth it?

            I think this holiday season is the perfect time to re-evaluate what is truly important in our lives and maybe 2013 might just look a lot different to each one of us!  True joy is found in unconditional love, not in the price tag of the “GIFT” we just had to charge on our gold card!
