Top "Hollywood" Tips & Tricks;
1) The Rule is that Dark Lipstick is aging! Make-up artists
suggest pairing it up with a rosy pink gloss that has a little
bit of shimmer in it! The pouty look for women over thirty
is silly, select a subtle, less shiny finish to break-up
noticeable lip lines!
2) The Rule is Black Liquid Liner makes you look a lot older!
Make-up artiest say it's too heavy & makes eyes look too
harsh. Only use the liquid liner for the outer thirds of your
top lashing & curl top lashes, and add lots of mascara.
3) The Rule is that layers & bangs make you look younger!
If you choose to go against the grain & have a haircut that
is one length, make sure your hair color is light. If your
current color is darker, go with a slight layer closes to the
face or bangs to break the harsh lines that can pull
your face down. Another look is to add soft highlights,
like a soft caramel color to dark hair to give an illusion
of movement.
4) The Rule is to Minimalist as you get older! Try going simpler
with make-up and hairstyles. The modern ponytail is back,
just slick back the sides and wear it high. This easy style
will stay in place for hours.
5) The Rule is to Keep Roots covered at all costs! Well, we all
know how fast roots can start growing & showing. A quick
inexpensive trick is too buy a little colored pencil the same
color as your hair or a slightly lighter color & touch-up as
needed to expend the time between color. Another simple
idea is to move sides you part your hair on.
6) The Rule is to Avoid Shiny Skin at all costs! To get the dewy
skin look, simply use oil plotting papers, it gives your skin
the feel & look of fresh washed skin. The type of paper you
will find in toilet seat covers is similar to the expensive oil
plotting papers, tear off a piece and press firmly on the skin.
