Cyndi Lauper was the Grand Marshal for a parade at the Kentucky Derby last Thursday, and when someone handed her a microphone, she tried to talk into it, but couldn't hear herself. So she cursed out the sound engineer . . . only the mic WAS on, and everyone heard her, including a crowd of kids.

Last week, Snooki criticized Patricia Krentcil . . . aka the "Tanning Mom" . . . and called her "crazy" for taking her daughter into a tanning booth. (--Krentcil says her daughter got burned by the sun.) Here's what Patricia said about it on Friday. (--She called Snooki an A-hole; said she was fat, fake and disgusting; and called her 'Snoopy.')

Kim Kardashian doesn’t want to wait until she’s married again to become a mother. According to OK! magazine, the reality show star, who is currently dating Kanye West, is considering adopting a baby from overseas, possibly Armenia, where her family is from. “She feels it would be a great way to honor her father and her heritage,” an insider told the magazine. “Kim has always planned on having a big family and wants to get started on it right away. She feels like the early 30s are the perfect time to start…She’s responsible enough to be a good mother but young enough that she can keep up with a toddler.” The insider adds that Kim is also ready to start a family the old fashioned way. “She’s going to get pregnant,” claims the source. “She says she wants to have a biological baby right after the adoption.”

Marvel’s The Avengers certainly had a good weekend. The superhero flick took in approximately $200.3 million to knock Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 out of top spot for biggest opening weekend (Hallows took in a measly $169.1). In addition to that record, The Avengers is the first film in history to make more than $200 mil in just three days, and scored the biggest Saturday box office of all time with $69.7 mil. The film has already opened worldwide and is on track to reach over $1 billion globally.

GEORGE LINDSAY, who played the character of Goober Pyle on the "ANDY GRIFFITH Show" and co-starred on "Hee Haw," has died in Nashville at age 83.

Megan Fox does not want to address rumors that she’s pregnant. In fact, when Entertainment Tonight reporter Steve Jones tried to broach the subject she quickly put an end to the interview. Fox was doing press for her upcoming campaign for The Sharper Image, when Jones oddly tried to work in the baby question.  “Do you know the ultimate gadget that every man wants?” he asked. “A baby.” Fox was obviously not amused.  “A baby?” she responded, adding, “Oh, I know where you’re going with this.” She laughed a bit, but refused to address the topic, and then her publicist stopped the interview.
