Christie Brinkley's ex-husband claims the supermodel's teary appearance on "Today" was nothing more than a "cunning and shameless" attempt to "garner public sympathy by "dishonest means." 

In case you missed the "Today" show interview yesterday, an emotional Brinkley claimed Cook has been on a mission to destroy her life since they broke up.

Cook is clearly unhappy ... his statement continues, "I am also shocked by the blatant lies she told regarding our divorce proceedings of four years ago, including denying the indisputable fact that she fought for an open courtroom despite the warnings it would harm our children.”   "[Brinkley] will stop at nothing to continue the drama in our lives in order to harass me and keep herself relevant in the media."  Cook also claims Brinkley is simply still bitter from when he cheated on her with an 18-year-old woman during their marriage ... saying, "Clearly, Christie does not believe I was punished enough four years ago for my indiscretions in our marriage, but for the sake of our children I wish she would find a way to move on.”

Piers Morgan has banned Madonna from his show but the reason is a mystery.  Piers tweeted Tuesday night, "Welcome to Twitter.  You're still banned from my show.  Love Piers X."  After receiving that tweet, Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, tweeted back, "Really?"and attached a letter from Piers' producer inviting Madonna to be a guest on his UK chat show.  Piers then tweeted back, "Madonna has only been banned from my CNN show, not my UK show, which sent that invite.  But I'm now banning her from that too."  As for why the bad blood, sources close to Madonna tell TMZ ... Madonna has no idea why Piers is mad at her, adding, "She doesn't even know who he is."  Piers said in January, 2011 he banned Madonna from his show for life because she's been "an irritant in my life for 20 years."  The invite, therefore, on Piers' UK show, is baffling.

Octomom Nadya Suleman has posed topless for Closer magazine; showing off what she says is a 130 pound weight loss. According to TMZ, Nadya agreed to the spread because she was broke and got paid $10,000 for the shoot and interview. “I’m doing that (posing nude) because I need to feed my kids,” said the mother of 14. “I need to pay the bills. And I’m still very cognizant of the repercussions of my choices.” As for her weight loss, Nadya tells Closer she gained 126 pounds when she was pregnant with her octuplets but, “just pinged back into shape like a rubber band after the kids.”  She adds that she has “never looked this good.”
