Last night was the season finale of "The Bachelor," and Ben Flajnik had to choose between Lindzi and this year's villain, Courtney. Here he is telling Lindzi that she's everything he was looking for. (--Then he tells her he's in love with someone else . . . a.k.a., Courtney. Lindzi told him to call if things didn't work out.) Ben ended up proposing to Courtney. (--She accepted after he told her that he promised himself he'd never propose to anyone again unless he was sure it would be forever.) The big shock came during the "After the Final Rose" special, where Ben and Courtney revealed they're back together. (--Ben put the engagement ring back on Courtney's finger, and said he still thinks they'll get married.  But then Courtney talks about how Ben dumped her a week before Valentine's Day. (--She said he "abandoned" her.)

Nicollette Sheridan got a surprise ally in her corner when her attorneys presented a voicemail message in court yesterday morning from a low-level Desperate Housewives employee who may help her win her wrongful termination and battery lawsuit.  The voicemail explained that he had "mistakenly" received an email indicating that ABC was going to wipe all the hard drives clean to erase evidence of their intention to kill off her character Edie Britt on the show.  "I’m a real low level employee there and I shouldn’t have got that email, I’m on the general email list," the staffer continued on the voicemail.  "But there was definitely a conspiracy to cover up the correspondence on email in regards to Nicollette."

Before entering rehab last year, Gerard Butler was involved in a relationship with a wanna-be actress/model that resulted in the end of her marriage.  "Gerard has completed a successful course of treatment and has returned home in good health," his rep said in a statement."  The hunky actor became involved with the actress last year, and carried on an affair with her for several months. "She had very strong feelings for Gerard, despite the fact that she was a newlywed at the time.”
