DEMI MOORE was sped to the hospital after a late-night call brought paramedics to her Los Angeles residence.  Unspecified sources told TMZ that the actress is receiving treatment for substance abuse. But Moore's rep told TMZ she was being treated for exhaustion.  The rep said, "Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health."  Yeah, right, though late word from the NY Daily News is that she'll enter rehab after her hospital stay.

Late night host Jimmy Fallon is being sued by a former employee who claims he was fired because Fallon prefers to surround himself on set by women. Paul Tarascio is accusing Fallon of "gender bias," alleging that in early 2010 he was fired from his position as first stage manager on Late Night and replaced by a "totally incompetent woman."  Tarascio adds that other staffers, including audio technicians and a Prop-Master, were also replaced by women and claims that Jimmy's director David Diomedi once told him, "Jimmy just prefers to take direction from a woman." Tarascio is seeking punitive damages and lost wages

Since breaking up with baseball star Alex Rodriguez last year, Cameron Diaz seems to have gone out of her way to prove she is young, carefree and single!  Cameron will be turning 40 in August, but "There's something about Cameron Diaz's face that is very unusual," celebrityplastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn, who has not worked with the star, said."She looks like she's preparing to take her costar Jim Carrey's role in The Mask!"
