Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Scott Disick are adding a baby girl to their family. "We are so blessed to be having a little girl and to be able to share this new experience with Mason," the reality show star, who is due in late spring, told E!. The couple is already parents to a two-year-old son, Mason Dash.

SIMPSON HAVING A GIRL TOO?!  And it looks like Kourtney may not be the only one expecting a girl. People reports that Jessica Simpson was recently shopping at the LA baby boutique Bel Bambini, and was spotting picking out mostly pink items. "Jessica and her mom spent over an hour at the store," claims a witness. "She took her time picking out the perfect baby items."

BIGGEST LOSER CONTESTANTS REVOLT!  TMZ reports there's a mutiny going on over at NBC's The Biggest Loser. The site claims the show's remaining contestants have walked off the program and are threatening to quit because producers planned a twist in which participants who were already voted off would have a chance to return and compete for the grand prize. Insiders say the competitors are furious and think it's unfair that the castoffs would get a crack at the $250,000 prize, so they walked off in the middle of shooting an episode.  Production has been shut down for at least a week while execs figure out how to handle the situation.

STAR JONES RETURNS TO THE VIEW!  Star Jones returned to The View yesterday, her first time back since her abrupt exit six years earlier. Jones' contract was not renewed and she originally agreed to a pre-planned announcement of her departure, but then shocked her co-hosts by announcing on the air that she was leaving.  "I take full responsibility for my own behavior, but I won't take responsibility if I did not make a decision I couldn't live with," Jones said. "I made the decision to go out on my own terms, to control it, so that if I was ever invited back, I would feel good about it." Said Walters about the incident, "To say we were surprised is putting it mildly." The gang also discussed why they agreed to lie to the audience about Star's gastric bypass surgery, with Walters explaining, "because we loved you, we did lie."

The National Enquirer will do anything to sell papers. This week's edition of the magazine features a cover shot of Whitney Houston lying dead in her casket, with the headline, "Whitney: The Last Photo!" The picture shows the singer, who died February 11th at the age of 48, in a purple dress, with a diamond broach and earrings (reportedly worth $500,000). The tabloid claims the picture was taken Friday during a private viewing at the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark, New Jersey, although they wouldn't say who took it.

BRITNEY WANTS IN ON X FACTOR  Britney Spears is the latest name to be mentioned in connection with Fox's X Factor. Insiders tell Us Weekly that Britney is interested in joining the talent competition as a judge and has reached out to producer Simon Cowell about considering her to replace fired judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. So far there's no word from Cowell whether Brit is actually in the running for the gig.  Others named as possible replacements include Janet Jackson and Black Eyed Peas' Fergie.

Character actor DANIEL VON BARGEN, who is best remembered for his role as Mr. Kruger on “Seinfeld” is in critical condition in an Ohio hospital from a self-inflicted gun-shot wound to the head. T-M-Z says that after the failed suicide attempt, the actor called 9-1-1 himself to get help. On a recording of the 9-1-1 call, the operater asks if the shooting was an accident. Von Bargen responds that he is diabetic and that he was “supposed to go to the hospital” but “didn’t want to” because he was facing a possible amputation related to his diabetes.
