Demi Moore is back on the Hollywood scene. Just three months after being rushed to the hospital, and then subsequently sent to rehab, Moore walked the red carpet Tuesday night at the premiere party for the new Lifetime series The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet. (Demi is the show’s executive producer. The program premieres April 26th at 11 pm.) Moore looked much healthier since the last time she was spotted in public, and appeared to have put on a significant amount of weight. Moore has also returned to Twitter and has announced she’s finally ready to get rid of her Twitter handle @MrsKutcher, which makes sense since she is divorcing estranged hubby Ashton Kutcher. “Time for a change, a twitter name change,” she tweeted. “Any suggestions?” She later added, “Collecting all suggestions! Thank you. Keep them coming!!!”
There’s no doubt Simon Cowell is worth millions, and he sure loves spending that dough on himself. According to the new Cowell unauthorized biography, Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell (hitting stores May 1st), the X Factor judge has some extremely quirky habits, all of which cost a lot of money. For instance, Simon insists his California home be stocked only with black toilet paper, which costs about $16 a roll. He also spends $5,000 a week on fresh flowers, gets Botox injections every six months, has regular colonics, gets intravenous vitamin drips for half an hour every Saturday afternoon and takes “saucers full” of pills daily. In addition, while traveling, Cowell always carries two suitcases full of eye drops, face creams, bath salts and other lotions.
The ninth annual Time 100 was announced yesterday, Time magazine’s list of the “most influential people in the world.” Several celebrities made it onto the list this year including: Chelsea Handler, Claire Danes, Kate & Pippa Middleton, Rihanna, Kristen Wiig, Louis C.K., Matt Lauer, Stephen Colbert, Fifty Shades of Grey author E.L. James, Jessica Chastain, Viola Davis and Adele.
A former Michael Jackson bodyguard who claimed to be the biological father of the singer’s youngest son Blanket is reportedly planning to sue in order to prove his claim. 32-year-old Brit Matt Fiddes says he donated his sperm to Jackson in 2001 after the singer told him he wanted an “athletic” child. Fiddes claims the only reason he plans to sue is so he can get visitation rights to the 10-year-old, whose real name is Prince Michael II. Fiddes believes Michael’s mother Katherine is keeping him from the child because she’s worried he’ll go after the singer’s money. Said Fiddes, “All I want is access if he’s my child, to take him out and spend some time together. My mom is dying of cancer. I want her to see Blanket more than anything.” The identity of the mother is unknown.
