Looking for a gift to get that Hunger Games fan in your family? Well, if you have over a million dollars to spare, you can buy them District 12. The North Carolina town of Henry River Mill Village, which was used to film the scenes of Katniss’ home District, is up for sale. Wade Shepherd, the 82-year-old owner of the abandoned town, which sits on 72 acres of land and is about an hour drive northwest from Charlotte, has decided to try and profit from the movie’s success by putting the town up for sale at an asking price of $1.4 million. "I'm getting too many visitors," said Wade. "Day and night, they're driving through, taking pictures, getting out and walking. I'm just bombarded with people."
