BOB HOPE’s long-time wife, DELORES HOPE, passed away yesterday at 102 at her home in Los Angeles. She and Bob were married for nearly 70 years before his death in 2003; they first met when she was a singer off-Broadway, but gave up her career to travel with him and raise their children. She was also a philanthropist, donating land and raising money for the Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, CA, and was chairman of the board for several years.

Tareq Salahi wasn't the only one devastated when Michaele ran off with Journey guitarist Neal Schon. Tareq tells TMZ that the couple's dog Rio, who suffered a heart attack a few weeks ago, was so upset by Michaele's absence that his heart gave out. Tareq blames Michaele for causing all the stress that led to the dog's passing. Meanwhile, Michaele stands to lose a lot of money in the couple's divorce. TMZ reports that while the pair has a prenup, it clearly states that if Michaele commits adultery she automatically loses the rights to any money or property the couple accumulated during their eight-year marriage. She also can't ask for spousal support.

The New York Post reports that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong made some money off the pictures that were released last week showing her with bruises she sustained at the hands of her husband, Russell. According to the paper, Entertainment Tonight shelled out $125,000 for the pic and an interview which is set to air tonight. Apparently Taylor was desperate for the money. Said a source, "She's broke."

Tracy Morgan is giving marriage another go. The 30 Rock star revealed on the Emmy red carpet Sunday night that he and girlfriend  Megan Wallover are engaged. "We got engaged six months ago," he told E!, adding that his proposal was "pretty traditional."  Explained Megan, "It wasn't anything crazy. He was on bended knee and everything." Morgan and his first wife Sabrina divorced in 2009 after 23 years of marriage.

Pippa Middleton sat front row at a fashion show in London Monday wearing an ultra short mini dress, and with stylish black booties she smiled for the cameras, unaware that a photo taken  is a favorite of many a sneaky snapper.  However, after close examination it appears that Pippa was just the victim of an optical illusion, and didn’t join the likes of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears in flashing the world.

Alec Baldwin missed the Emmy awards Sunday night and explained his absence explaining that he had a prior commitment for a charity event; he said that he had pre-taped a skit with host Jane Lynch that the network decided not to air during the Emmys broadcast.
