REESE WITHERSPOON just can't seem to stay away from the ER. Photographers for <strong>RadarOnline.comcaught the Oscar-winner wearing a small splint on her left pinky finger while out-and-about last Monday. 2010 has been a painful year for Reese --she twisted her ankle in May and was also hit by a car while jogging last September.

Dr. Conrad Murray was sentenced yesterday to four years in prison in connection with the 2009 death of Michael Jackson. Judge Michael Pastor gave Murray the maximum sentence he could hand out for an involuntary manslaughter conviction. (Officials say Murray will likely serve less than two years behind bars.) "Dr. Murray engaged in a recurring, continuous pattern of deceit and lies," said Judge Pastor. "Dr. Murray abandoned his patient." He added that Murray's conduct was "egregious" and "a disgrace to the medical profession." During the hearing, Brian Panish, attorney for the Jackson family, read a statement on their behalf.  "We still look at each other in disbelief.  Is it really possible he is gone?,"  it read. "We are not here to seek revenge.  There is nothing you can do here today that will bring Michael back."  As for the sentence, the family added, "We respectfully request you impose a sentence that reminds physicians they cannot sell their services to the highest bidder."

TWILIGHT FANS FAKE ENGAGEMENTS!

Twilight fans are going crazy over the wedding dressKristen Stewart wears  in the current release, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1. According to TMZ, replicas of the gown are being sold at Alfred Angelo bridal boutiques around the country, and sources at the chain claim women are secretly lying about being engaged in order to try on the gown. The employees say the fans are driving them crazy and making it hard for them to do business.

Comedian Patrice O'Neal,  who performed on the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen back in September, passed away Tuesday morning due to complications from a stroke he suffered in October. He was 41. O'Neal made several TV appearances over the years, including guest stints on The Office, Chappelle Show and Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. Sheen, who met Patrice only a few days before the Roast, released a statement yesterday saying,  "The world at large lost a brilliant man today. I will forever be inspired by his nobility, his grace and his epic talent…My tears today are for the tremendous loss to his true friends and loving family."

 Jewel has unveiled the first picture of her four-month old son Kase Townes. "Thought I'd share a pic of the baby taken on Thanksgiving," she wrote on her WhoSay page. "He is the happiest baby!" Jewel and hubby Ty Murray welcomed Kase back in July. 

Director Tyler Perry has written an open letter to the 11-year-old alleged victim of former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky. Perry, who revealed in 2009 that he was a victim of sexual abuse, called the brave boy his "hero." "I want you to know you didn't do anything wrong," he wrote in the letter, printed in Newsweek. "It's not your fault. Please know you were chosen by a monster. You didn't choose him. You didn't ask for it and most of all, you didn't deserve it." Added Perry, "I must tell you, what you have done is so courageous. The strength that it must have taken for your 11-year-old voice to speak out about such a horrible act is something that I didn’t have the strength or courage to do at that age.”

Less than two weeks after his wife of six years announced she was filing for divorce Ashton took to his Twitter and posted a bizarre photo of his current company – a cow.  “Country Giving,” he tweeted along with a self portrait of himself with a COW in the background.  He did say that "I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi."

It’s safe to say there’s at least one guy in the world who won’t be keeping up with the Kardashians.  007 star Daniel Craig  says "We've been in your living room. We were at your birth. You filmed it for us and showed us!  And now you want some privacy?"  He says “You mean all I have to do is behave like an idiot on television and then you'll pay me millions?”

Dr. Conrad Murray has been formally sentenced to four years in the Los Angeles County Jail for his role in the death of Michael Jackson.  As he was led away in handcuffs, Murray blew a kiss, presumably to his family. Murray's four year sentence will automatically be cut in half because this crime is considered a non-violent felony. Dr. Murray could serve the 2^nd half  under house arrest.
