Ashton Kutcher’s tweets have gotten him into hot water yet again. Wednesday night, after Penn State announced that they had fired football coach Joe Paterno following the recent sex abuse scandal at the school, Kutcher sent out the tweet, “How do you fire Jo Pa?  #insult #noclass as a hawkeye fan I find it in poor taste." Well, the tweet instantly angered some of Kutcher’s 8.3 million followers, with some responding that the Two and a Half Men star was an “idiot” and “ignorant.” "Today's lesson? @aplusk Think (get facts) before you tweet! #yikes,” wrote one follower. About 30 minutes after the initial tweet went up, Kutcher took it down and tweeted several apologies.  “Heard Joe was fired, fully recant previous tweet! Didn't have full story. #admitwhenYoumakemistakes,” he wrote, followed by "This is an insane story, I just heard paterno was fired, getting the rest of the story now... Wow" and "As an advocate in the fight against child sexual exploitation, I could not be more remorseful for all involved in the Penn St. case." By the end of the day, Ashton announced that he was no longer going to handle tweets by himself, and instead would hand the feed over to his management to check the "quality" of his tweets before they are posted.

Q-Ashton auditioned, but did not get, the role of Danny Walker in the box office hit Pearl Harbor. Who beat him out for the role? Josh Hartnett

BILLY CRYSTAL HOSTING THE OSCARS!

Billy Crystal has been tapped to the host the Oscars! The actor/comedian replaces Eddie Murphy, who left this week following the departure of producer Brett Ratner. Crystal won the gig despite a fervent Facebook campaign to get the Muppets to host. He announced the news on Twitter, writing: "Am doing the Oscars so the young woman in the pharmacy will stop asking my name when I pick up my prescriptions. Looking forward to the show." It will be the ninth time Crystal has hosted the show. The 84th Academy Awards air Feb. 26 on ABC.
