BRISTOL PALIN ADMITS TO JAW SURGERY!
Bristol Palin has finally addressed the rumors that she had some work done to her face. While Bristol tells Us Weekly that she did go under the knife, she insists it wasn't for cosmetic reasons. "I had corrective jaw surgery" in December, said Bristol. "It's not plastic surgery." While she admits that the procedure "improved the way I looked," she claims "this surgery was necessary for medical reasons…so my jaw and teeth could properly realign…I don't obsess over my face." The 20-year-old adds, "I am absolutely thrilled with the results. I look older, more mature and I don't have as much of a chubby little baby face." But while she sounds completely thrilled that she looks nothing like herself, Bristol insists she would never undergo plastic surgery for vanity’s sake. Said Bristol, "I wouldn't get plastic surgery unless I got in an accident or something terrible and got disfigured."
ARNOLD STILL LOVES MARIA!
Just one day after announcing he and wife Maria Shriver had separated, Arnold Schwarzenegger made his first public comments about the split. "I want to take a moment and thank our friends and family for the tremendous amount of support and love that you have given us in the last 24 hours," said the Terminator star at the 63rd Israel Independence Day Celebration in Los Angeles. "I just spoke to Maria an hour before I came here. We both were saying the same thing, we're extremely blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful people, by so many wonderful friends." The 63-year-old former governor of California also made it sound like there was some hope that their marriage can be saved. "We both love each other very much," he said. "We're very fortunate to have four extraordinary children. And we're taking it one day at a time."
REPORT CLAIMS HUGH GRANT ALMOST REPLACED CHARLIE SHEEN!
When Charlie Sheen was fired, CBS really was looking to replace him, and according to Deadline.com, the network almost nabbed Hugh Grant for the gig. A network source tells the site that the Four Weddings and a Funeral star was thisclose to signing on for the show at a salary much smaller than Charlie's $2 million an episode. According to Deadline, after having several meetings Grant just decided against doing the show. “It was not the money. He didn't want to do TV because those 24 episodes are a grind and a lot of work,” claims a source. “At the end he couldn't get his head around doing a series."
CHARLIE AND DENISE FIGHTING OVER CUSTODY!
Charlie Sheen and ex-wife Denise Richards met with their attorneys yesterday regarding custody of their two daughters Lola and Sam. According to TMZ, the former Two and a Half Men star wants the girls to stay with him on weekends, but Denise was concerned about their welfare and wouldn't allow it. The two met yesterday at a lawyers' office where "neutral third parties in the room" agreed with Denise, meaning Charlie will not get to visit with his daughters as he wishes.
IDOL PAYCHECKS REVEALED!
American Idol may be a cash cow for Fox, but it certainly isn't cheap to produce. In fact, the talent alone costs millions of dollars. And now we know just how many. According to reports, Ryan Seacrest's salary has tripled since 2009. He originally earned $5 million a season, but is now getting $15 million per year for the next three years. Surprisingly, sources say that Steven Tyler actually makes more than fellow judge Jennifer Lopez, earning $18 million, compared to J.Lo's $12 million. Finally, Randy Jackson, who has been with Idol the longest, actually makes the least. He reportedly gets “only” $5 million a year.
