THE REASONS BEHIND THE SCHWARZENEGGER/SHRIVER SPLIT!

Former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger and wife Maria Shriver announced yesterday that they had separated after 25 years of marriage. While the pair just confirmed the split, sources tell TMZ that Maria has been "miserable' for a long time, and contemplated filing for divorce almost two years ago.  The site reports that Maria moved out of their L.A. mansion months ago because she has had enough of the Terminator star's out of control ego and womanizing. Insiders say the couple spent "very little time together" and Maria felt Arnold had been ignoring her for years. Word is, Maria considered divorce in 2009 but held off after her mother's death. She then thought about leaving in January of this year, but then her father died, and she changed her mind again. The source adds that Arnold has become "impossible" to live with, and that their three kids actually pushed Maria to end the marriage. But as soon as Maria finally got the courage to move out, Arnold changed his tune and has been "working extremely hard" to win her back. "He could not be sweeter now that she's left him," claims the source, who says that despite the pair's differences there is "serious chemistry between them."

Oprah Winfrey has only two more weeks left hosting her syndicated show and she's starting to think about her future.  And that future may include a stint on Broadway. "I have a stack of plays in my bag right now that I am reading," the 57-year-old tells the Chicago Tribune of her desire to do theater. "And just this past weekend, I was in New York meeting with producers. We were just talking about what would be the best route to take. But yes, this is really going to happen…life is too short." Oprah has always wanted to tackle the stage, and even discussed starring in the 2010 production of Fences, but her Oprah Winfrey Show schedule wouldn't allow it. But now that she'll be free, she is focusing on making that dream come true. "It's time to do something fun," she said. "The next phase of my life should be pure delight."

Prince William and new bride Catherine Middleton finally left for their honeymoon on Tuesday, and while the destination was supposed to remain a secret, it didn't take long for the secret to come out. A spokeswoman for the Seychelles' department of tourism revealed yesterday that the royal couple landed at 7:20 local time.  According to the UK press, the newlyweds then took a helicopter to an unspecified island, where they're expected to spend 10 days in a secluded villa.  Insiders believe they could be staying in Fregate, an "ultra exclusive" private island which is only a mile in length and less than a mile wide and features seven beaches. The Seychelles, made up of more than 100 islands in the Indian Ocean, is a place the newlyweds are quite familiar with. They previously vacationed there in August 2007.
