It doesn't sound like Ashley Hebert is going to have a happy ending after tonight's season finale of The Bachelorette. According to OK! magazine, the guy Ashley chooses does indeed propose, but it's all for the cameras. "The word is that the guy was just using her to be famous," a source tells the mag. "He turned out to be a complete fake. Apparently, he accepted the rose and gave her the engagement ring, but then as soon as the cameras stopped rolling, he did a total 180." According to the insider, Ashley's choice turned out to be worse than Bentley, who played her during the season. Ashley is understandably embarrassed by what happened. Said the source, "She's been pretty much beside herself." But apparently, Ashley wasn't the only one duped. "The guys in the house thought he was sincere, and so did everyone involved in the show," claims the source. "He was actually the biggest user of the bunch."

The UK press reports that prior to her death,  Amy Winehouse was preparing to adopt a 10-year-old girl from St. Lucia.  The grandmother of Dannika Augustine told the Sunday Mirror that Amy met the child, who was living in poverty, during her many trips to the island over the years. "Amy was already my mother. I would call her mum and she would call me her daughter,"  Dannika told the paper.  "She took care of me and we had fun together. I loved her and she loved me ... She was the most amazing person and I was looking forward to living with her here or in London. I cannot believe she is gone. This is the worst thing that ever happened to me." The grandmother says both of Dannika's parents had signed off on the adoption and Amy planned to return to St. Lucia next month.

Charlie Sheen doesn't sound like he's the best dad in the world. According to Radaronline, the former Two and a Half Men star hasn't seen twin sons Bob and Max in nearly a month. The kids are currently being looked after by their maternal grandparents, while mom Brooke Mueller is in rehab. But sources say in all the time Brooke has been away, Charlie hasn't come to see his kids at all. "Charlie last saw the boys about three weeks ago," said a source. "He hasn't requested to see the boys more now that Brooke is in rehab."  According to an insider, "Charlie goes through phases where he is a very involved and doting parent and then to the other extreme of not having any contact whatsoever with the boys."

Star magazine last week published shocking photos of cancer survivor Michael Douglas smoking again. The photos were taken July 21st, as Michael and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones enjoyed time on a yacht in Porto Venere, Italy.  Douglas underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiation for throat cancer in August, 2010. He announced in January that he was cancer free.

So much for OprahWinfrey saying goodbye to her talk show. Oprah announced Friday that she will host a new series for her OWN network, in which episodes of her old talker will be recycled and used as a "classroom" to help viewers improve their lives. The show, titled Own Your Life, will air weekdays at 8 pm starting October 10th. Also premiering October 10th is The Rosie Show, the new talker from Rosie O'Donnell. It will air at 7 pm.

Donald Trump hasn't closed the door on running for President.  "If the economy continues to be bad"..."if the Republicans pick the wrong candidate," "I would give it very, very serious thought."

Lindsay Lohan seems to have become a non-stop party animal.  For the third day in a row, she partied down in Malibu with her new BFF (and former enemy) Paris Hilton.  Saturday night's bash became Sunday morning's, and Lindsay didn't leave until 4 AM!

Kate Middleton may only be a Duchess but she is definitely the Queen of Recycling.  Bucking the celebrity trend of wearing an outfit only once, Kate yet again recycled an item of her wardrobe. On Saturday she wore a cream colored coatdress as she stepped out for the wedding of Zara Phillips and rugby player Mike Tindall.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver put their differences aside to spend some quality time together on his birthday Saturday.  They met up in Beverly Hills for some retail therapy with their sons Patrick and Christopher.
Arnold and his sons started the afternoon with lunch at his favorite restaurant, Cafe Roma.
