In an upcoming interview with 20/20, Demi Lovato admits that she began cutting herself when she was only 11 years old. The 18-year-old, who last year checked into a rehab facility for personal issues, explained that cutting was, "a way of expressing my own shame, of myself, on my own body."  She adds, "I was matching the inside to the outside. And there were some times where my emotions were just so built up, I didn't know what to do. The only way that I could get instant gratification was through an immediate release on myself." As for the attack on backup dancer Alex Welch, which prompted Demi to get help, she says she takes, "100 percent, full responsibility" for her actions, adding, "I feel horrible, [She] was my friend."

DemiLovato has decided to leave her Disney show. The network confirmed that the actress is not returning to Sonny with a Chance, the program that made her famous.

Vanessa Hudgens is denying that the white substance the High School Musical star was seen licking off her finger at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival over the weekend was cocaine.   The rep says the creamy white substance was actually melted white chocolate.

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller were in a California court yesterday to battle it out over custody of their twin sons. Charlie's lawyers were trying to get the couple's custody arrangement overturned because Brooke had allegedly fallen off the wagon. But Charlie was unsuccessful in changing the arrangement.  According to Radaronline, a judge ruled that Mueller will continue to have primary legal and physical custody of the kids, with her mother caring for the boys while she undergoes treatment at an undisclosed rehab facility.

American Idol judge Steven Tyler made a dying man's wish come true. Lawrence Ori, a lifelong Aerosmith fan, suffered from supernuclear palsey, a degenerative condition that made it difficult for him to talk and move. Ori always wanted to meet his idol Tyler, so when the Aerosmith frontman heard of his condition, he decided to do what he could to grant the 62-year-old's wish, and got in contact with him via Skype. Ori was surrounded by friends wearing Aerosmith shirts when the call came in. "Lawrence? This is Steve," said Tyler. "I'm coming to you from L.A. and I'm so glad to meet you."  Lawrence was reportedly shocked and had his girlfriend tell Tyler how much he loved the band. "You hold on, Lawrence. I love you man," said Steven. "Great to meet you." Unfortunately, Lawrence died later that afternoon.

"Dancing with the Stars" update: Bottom three couples on "DWTS" this week: RALPH MACCHIO and partner Karina Smirnoff, PETRA NEMCOVA and partner Dmitry Chaplin, and KENDRA WILKINSON and Louis van Amstel. Host TOM BERGERON also revealed that booted "American Idol" contestant PIA TOSCANO would be singing on next week's show with a dance by her "close friend," dancer MARK BALLAS, whom she's been dating.

KIRSTIE ALLEY did a smash-up foxtrot on "Dancing With the Stars" with some help from an old friend. After a dodgy performance last week, she was very nervous about getting the boot and called in JOHN TRAVOLTA for help! The "Grease" star suggested she lose the sky-high Manolo Blahnik heels and ramp up the chemistry with partner MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY. The approach seemed to work --judge CARRIE ANN INABA called her dance "magical," "bold," "ambitious" and a "little bit crazy." (Lee)
