Loeb Quickest in the Monte Carlo Rally
SHOWS: Defending champion Sebastien Loeb leads the way at the Monte Carlo Rally on Wednesday (January 16). The Frenchman, nine times world champion and winner of six of the last seven Monte Carlo rallies, won three of the days four stages to take a commanding lead. Loeb's countryman Sebastien Ogier, who won the first stage of the day, is second 1 minute, 20.3 seconds back with Finland's Mikko Hirvonen in third place 1:46.7 back.
