Hundreds of Oklahoma National Guard soldiers, members of the 45th Infantry Brigade, will be far from home this Christmas season.  But you can bring a piece of home to them in the form of a care package. 

Beef jerky, tuna, cookies, crackers, Doritos, fruit pies and Little Debbie’s are among the items our soldiers enjoy consuming according to Senior Family Readiness Support Assistant Tracy Poindexter. 

But care package contents aren’t limited to only food: “I know when my son was deployed I sent him some games.  I sent him some remote controlled cars for him and his friends for down time,” said Poindexter.

Other items soldiers would like to get include baby wipes, baby powder, body wash, coffee, tea bags, mac and cheese, popcorn and brownie mix.
