Earthquakes are becoming a common occurrence in Oklahoma.

The Great Central U-S ShakeOut is Tuesday to help you prepare.

It's the largest earthquake safety campaign in the region’s history, involving more than 1 million people.

Many states have been conducting the drill for years at community centers and schools.

This will be the second year for Oklahoma after recently experiencing a damaging 5.6 magnitude earthquake in the central part of the state.

The basic message is to “Drop, Cover and Hold On.”

Earthquake experts predict there is a 25% to 40% probability of a damaging earthquake happening in the central U.S. within the next 50 years.
