Madonna slams MIA for Super Bowl bird

By James Aquilone

Madonna has no L.U.V for M.I.A. and her bird-flipping antics at the Super Bowl.

On Ryan Seacrest's radio show last week, Madge said, "I was really surprised. I didn't know anything about it. I wasn't happy about it."

The singer invited M.I.A and Nicki Minaj to perform her new single "Gimme All Your Luvin'" at the half-time show, but the British rapper nearly stole the spotlight when her obscene gesture was caught on live TV. Madonna said, "I understand it's punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy, and positivity it seemed negative."

The Material Mom added, "It's such a teenager...irrelevant thing to do. There was such a feeling of love and unity there. What was the point? It was just out of place."
