The former president rocked the bright pink socks at the dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Library in Dallas.
The elder Bush spoke briefly and was seated in a wheelchair but the socks were obvious and a BIG social media hit.
The 88 year old former president has become known the past few years for loud socks. He wore a red, white, and blue pair this month that drew similar praise.
The Houston Chronicle says the socks have become his statement on style. These days if you visit the president in his office you are likely to leave with men’s hosiery instead of some other keepsake.
Don’t know about you but we think it’s a pretty cool idea for the patriarch of one of America’s highest profile political families.
