After tonight we've only got a handful of Downton Abbey episodes left in Season 4. We can't believe it either! This year's installment comes to an end on February 23 but, don't worry, we've got lots of ground left to cover for some of the plot's biggest stories.
If you're looking for a more general overview, we have some episodic details with minimal spoilage as well as a look back at what went down in Season 3. Of course, if you really want to know what's on the horizon, we've got plenty of information in our Season 4 roundup seeing as we watched the season while it aired in the U.K. It's all for you, loyal readers!
Too much information? Just want a quick look at what's planned for the new episode, on tonight at 9 p.m. on PBS? Keep on reading. We've avoided any major spoilers in the summary below so you can plan your TV viewing accordingly. And by that we mean record the Grammys and The Bachelor wedding for later viewing and tune in to Downton live. You won't want to miss it!
Tonight we get some answers. Not a lot mind you (this is still Downton Abbey after all) but still, some.
Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) picks up after last episode's big romantic development while Lady Edith (Laura Carmichael) takes a visit to London to get what could be some major news. Robert (Hugh Bonneville) finally stops feeling sorry for himself (at least for now) and the Dowager Countess (Maggie Smith) gets a few good ones in about Isobel's (Penelope Wilton) latest mission.
