After last night's two-hour episode of American Idol we're not sure what to expect during this evening's first results show.
The Top 13 of Season 13 showed the country what they're made of as the contestants performed songs they felt best embodied the kind of music they want to make. Some of the songs were great while others, well, they didn't quite translate.
No matter who goes home tonight, it'll be tough to say goodbye particularly after all the trials and tribulations we've seen the contestants go through to get to this point. There's been auditions, of course, followed by Hollywood Week and then the grueling new leg known as Rush Week. To go through all that and not make it past Week 1. Ouch.
There is a silver lining, though! The Top 13 will get to go on the official American Idol tour so even if your favorite contestant heads home tonight, expect to see him or her on the road this summer.
Tonight's results show will be one hour, and, if a rumor we've heard proves true next week, it'll be the last one-hour results show until the mid-May finale. Fox is keeping mum on that for now but we'll keep you posted as we get more details.
Think you know who's going home tonight? Hit the comments and tell us your suspicions, and be sure to follow up with Wetpaint Entertainment tonight when the episode begins at 8 p.m. on Fox.
