It’s hard to believe that we’ve already had four whole seasons of The Voice, but ever since NBC extended the show to air twice a year, we get double the talent! Season 5 of The Voice airs fall 2013 and will premiere tonight, Monday, Sept. 23.
This season will take us back to the roots of our favorite singing competition as original coaches Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green return along with Blake Shelton and Adam Levine to find and mentor a whole new batch of talent.
For the past three seasons, Blake Shelton has seemingly dominated the competition, but will another celebrity coach take home this season’s title?
We know pop diva Christina Aguilera will want to be the first female coach to mentor a winner. We can’t wait for the “Beautiful” singer’s personal brand of honesty, which was noticeably missing from this Season 4’s competition.
Since Season 4 started about two months later than Season 2’s cycle from the previous spring, this fall’s installment starts about the same time as Season 3’s premiere. This means that the show’s coaches had even less of a hiatus (about three months), but it we are excited to have them back even sooner!
