It sounds like a nightmare for most of us, but dozens of brave contestants will be looking for love without a stitch of clothing on the upcoming VH1 series Naked Dating.
Yes, it's exactly what it sounds like. In each hour-long episode, one man and one woman will each date two suitors in an exotic locale — and everyone will be in the buff.
"At first, this seems like a show that's all about a noisy, provocative hook — and we embrace that," VH1 vice president Susan Levinson explains in a press release. "But when you go deeper, it's really about something that we can all relate to — the search for true love."
Executive producer Howard Schultz expounds on the premise a bit: "With all the dating options in the world, what happens if you take one man and woman and strip them of all their pretenses? VH1 immediately understood our vision and is a fantastic partner on a show that uses a social experiment to provide a fun an entertaining look into how men and women interact when they bare all."
Well, better them than us! Keep an eye out for this show to premiere in the coming months.
In the meantime, we're just wondering if said "exotic locales" include Antarctica, Iceland, Anchorage…
