We are finally getting a look at the man who saved the life of Usher’s son, Usher Raymond V.
Eugene Sarchurski, pictured with his nephew, is 35 and installs audio/video equipment for a living.
On Monday, August 5, he was working for Usher’s aunt, when all of a sudden Usher’s five-year-old son was nearly drowning in a swimming pool.
Eugene and his co-worker Ben Crews didn’t think twice — they pulled the boy out of the pool and Eugene administered CPR.
After the incident, Usher wrote, “They are true heroes and I am deeply grateful to them.”
Eugene is the kind of hero you only read about in novels — he didn’t sell his story to Star magazine and he didn’t appear on Good Morning America. He just tried to go about his business.
When RumorFix and other major news outlets called him, but he didn’t even pick up the phone. His only comment was to CNN: “I am just glad Usher’s son is alive.”
