In Season 1, Episode 2: “House of the Rising Son,” Rebekah(Claire Holt) is finally in New Orleans, much toElijah’s (Daniel Gillies) insistence. However, considering what happened to Elijah in the final seconds, she will only be met by her least favorite brother, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) — and his baby mama, Hayley(Phoebe Tonkin). Not that Rebekah can judge, since she just had a sexy threesome withMatt Donovan (Zach Roerig) and newcomer Nadia in Europe.
There’s the expected Klaus vs.Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) drama — plus a closer look at Marcel’s witch, Davina — and things get pretty heavy in aflashback to the 1800s. And trust us, these sexy vamps look just as good now as they did then, which you can check out in photos from the episode here.
While we saw some of our favorite Original vamps way back when in the premiere, this episode has everyone in a different time period (farewell, Klaus and Elijah’s long locks) and Marcel shirtless. And considering that Klaus is drawing a sword at Marcel in one photo, it seems like we’ll have some deja vu as history repeats itself!Check out the full synopsis below for all the trouble unfolding down in the Big Easy.
“When Rebekah (Claire Holt) arrives in New Orleans at her brother Elijah’s (Daniel Gillies) insistence, she meets Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), who gives her some unexpected news. Concerned that her brother Klaus is up to no good, Rebekah seeks help from a reluctant Sophie (Daniella Pineda.) At her wits’ end, Hayley takes matters into her own hands, but things quickly take a dangerous turn. Determined to uncover Marcel’s (Charles Michael Davis) secret weapon, Klaus stays one step ahead and executes his plan. Meanwhile, after a run-in with Marcel, Rebekah is reminded of all the anger and disappointment Klaus has caused her throughout the years. Finally, Marcel enlists Davina’s (Danielle Campbell) help in his own dangerous plan.”
