This year’s Teen Choice Awards featured some fantastic and memorable moments. From Lea Michele’s touching tribute to her late boyfriend Cory Monteith to Ashton Kutcher’s super random “Find Opportunities, Be Sexy, and Build Your own Life” speech, and there were even a few more awkward surprises along the way. Think: boobs, twerking, and awkward Instagrams.
For starters, we saw plenty of interesting fashion choices, but two that really stuck out (pun totally intended) in our minds were Nina Dobrev and 17-year-old Abigail Breslin’s intense cleavage.
The ladies totally rocked their frocks — Nina in an interesting satin paint-splattered jumper and Abigail in an adorable pleated teal sun dress accompanied by a shimmering cardigan — but despite the former’s covered legs and the latter’s covered arms, one spot both ladies forgot to cover was their chests.
Nina, the 24-year-old bombshell from The Vampire Diaries, looked amazing in her outfit, until she turned just a little too far to the left, showing some underboob cleavage. Abigail put her girls front and center in an impressive feat that even the Victoria Secret angels would be jealous of.
Ian Somerhalder was the next celeb to catch our eye. While we were busy paying attention to the show, Ian decided to take an Instagram video of himself and his adoring fans. During the taping.
Ian posted this Instagram video with the caption, “Teen choice! A view from the floor-You guys rock!!!!!!!!!! Love Ian.” While his fans seem to love this shot, we can’t help but think that it was kinda rude during a live show, no?

Harry Styles twerked while Ed Sheeran couldn’t deal. ‘Nuff said.
Finally, Nick Jonas posted a very cryptic Twitpic earlier in the evening of himself and Demi Lovato with the caption, “TCA's surprises to come..” and we were not disappointed, although that stage did get a teensy weensy bit awkward.
While those who obsessively receive Nick Jonas Twitter updates knew something fun was coming, everyone else didn’t realize there was anything special (besides our girl tearing through those deep notes, obvs) until Demi gave a quick shout out to her guest drummer at the very end of her performance. Wait, what? Like, we’re talking one second to say, “Everyone give it up for my good friend, Nick Jonas.” Cue a split-second awkward smile from Nick, aaand scene.
Special mention to the “Twerking World Record” that couldn’t have been more awkward, except the camera cut to what looked like little Quvenzhane Wallis attempting to twerk in the audience.
