Rapper Tyga, aka Michael Stevenson, has been accused of theft by Jason of Beverly Hills, a famous Beverly Hills jewelry boutique, according to a TMZ report. Ironic news seeing as the 23-year-old is also the mastermind behind the single “Diamond Life.”
In a lawsuit filed by JBH, Tyga is accused of taking out a $63,000 diamond Cuban link chain back in December — a major piece of ice Tyga never returned, the store claims. Also, JBH adds, the rapper agreed to spend $28,275 for a diamond pantheon in August 2012 and that reportedly didn’t happen either.
Tyga — which, by the by, is an acronym for “Thank You God Always”— now faces a lawsuit from JBH calling in the price tags of both pieces plus late fees. The total: $186,306.50. Steep considering Tyga’s also facing a multi-million dollar lawsuit from two backup dancers.
Might be time to get on your knees and start praying, Tyga — particularly seeing as JBH doesn’t mess around when it comes to its jewels. The company has also added bling to the collections of Rihanna, Beyonce, and Justin Bieber. Unfortunately, it sounds like Tyga may have permanently disqualified himself from making the “okay to loan” list.
