Lucy Hale may have only just released her debut country single onto the music scene, but the Pretty Little Liarsactress has been dreaming about it since she was small, and who know where the adventurous career move might take her? Perhaps, even all the way to a duet with crazy successful pop star Taylor Swift? What did Luce have to say about the possibility?
Lucy recently made an appearance on VEVO’s Ask:Reply video series, fielding questions from her fans. One asker inquired if Lucy would ever want to do a duet with Tay. Lucy’s answer?: “Yeah, obviously. I really respect her. I respect everything that she sings about and I’m a huge fan of her music. She’s an amazing performer, so if I ever got that opportunity, I would absolutely do that.” We’re for it, too, Luce! The Pretty Little Liars star’s pop-country style would align so well with the similar sound and message of Taylor’s catchy tunes.
Even if the Taylor thing never works out, Lucy is doing pretty well for herself. Her recently-released single, “You Sound Good to Me,” has flown to the top of the iTunes country music chart. Releasing the single was a dream come true for the Tennessee native, and it looks like another music-related wish is about to happen for the pint-sized PLLer, as well. Yesterday, she announced via Twitter that she would be performing at the legendary Grand Ole Opry in Nashville later this winter: “This is literally a dream wk for me,” Lucy tweeted. “Just got word that I will be performing at the Grand Ole Opry on Feb 21… I cannot believe this.” We’re so proud of Lucy for following her dreams!
