We have new intel about Pretty Little Liars’ Season 4, Episode 22! And our curiosity is already piqued by the episode’s title and details on the introduction of a new, recurring character. Read on to find out what we know about the Season 4B episode so far.
According to this Pretty Little Liars fansite, Season 4, Episode 22 will be titled “Cover For Me” — a relatively straightforward title in the Pretty Little Liars universe. What could the moniker mean? Well, we can’t help but wonder if it has anything to do with Ezra’s current status as a potential “A.” Who does and doesn’t know his “A” game involvement will most likely be a central storyline in Season 4B. Does Ezra ask someone to cover for him in Episode 22? Perhaps Aria? (Be still, our Ezria-shipping hearts!)
Or perhaps it refers to the relationship between Spencer and Toby? After all, Spencer was covering for Toby for a majority of Season 4A. She agreed not to tell her friends about Toby’s super-secret understanding with “A” wherein “A” would give him clues about the truth behind his mother’s death and he would do the occasional chore for her (i.e. moving “A”’s lair from the clutches of Team Liar and back into “A”’s possession). Could Spencer be asked to cover for Toby yet again?
There’s always a chance the title has something to do with the new character introduced in this episode. Another new face is coming to Rosewood! We will meet recurring character Riley, an indie musician, in Episode 22. Does Riley have anything to do with the “A” game? Will she be asking someone to cover for her — or agree to cover for one of the Liars? Or — using a different, duller sense of the word — could she be performing a song cover? The possibilities are infuriatingly endless!
What do you think “Cover For Me” means? And who is this Riley character? Share your theories in the comments below!Catch the Pretty Little Liars Season 4 Halloween special on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
