A somber who’s who of Hollywood’s top acting talent turned out Friday to say goodbye to Philip Seymour Hoffman.
The 46-year-old actor’s funeral was held in New York at Church of St. Ignatius Loyola. The caliber of stars in attendance looked more like an Oscars ceremony, including the likes of Meryl Streep, Cate Blachett, Michelle Williams, Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams and Julianne Moore.
The Academy Award winner was found dead Sunday of a suspected heroin overdose. He was only 46 years old.
A devastated looking Cate Blanchett cancelled the majority of her media appearances to promote The Monuments Men this week to be there for Hoffman’s family and children. They co-starred together in The Talented Mr. Ripley:
