We’re anticipating Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) eventual escape from the safe he’s been drowning in all summer, but we’re still not sure what exactly to expect. Luckily, Paul has taken to Twitter to allay some of our curiosity. What did The Vampire Diariesstar reveal about Stefan’s post-quarry persona?
“One thing I can guarantee you all is that Stefan's hair still looks exactly the same immediately after he gets out of that safe,” Paul (hilariously) tweeted last week. Well, as long as the hair is OK...
We love Paul’s sense of humor concerning his character (and what is arguably his character’s most recognizable asset). We have to admit: we have been worried how Stefan’s gravity-defying locks fared after a summer-long soak in quarry water. It’s comforting to know that his hero hair will come out intact — even if his sanity doesn’t.
All signs point to unstable following Stefan’s summer spent perpetually drowning in a safe at the bottom of a quarry. Paul told TV Guide that "Stefan is really screwed up in the head when he gets out of this quarry. He's the hero and everyone wants to see the hero's journey and his fall and his great redemption, and I think that's what it's all about.” But as long as the ‘do is still firmly in place, we don’t think we have too much to worry about.
Are you are relieved as we are that Stefan’s ‘do survived the drowning? Sound off in the comments below!
