Rumors swirled last week that the cast of Party Down South refused to continue videotaping until the show gave them more money.
TMZ claims that the eight cast members, who reportedly make $500 per episode, hired a management team to help them negotiate a deal with CMT.
But RumorFix caught up with fan favorites Lyle, Walt, Ryan, and Tiffany, who all seemed genuinely confused when we brought up the topic of a labor dispute:
Lyle Boudreaux: “I don’t know, I think that was made up…That is rude [that somebody would make that up], you get fired for saying stuff like that!”
Walt Windham: “I have no idea anything about the more money thing. I did hear something about that [in the tabloids], but I really don’t know anything about that. Money is not everything to me. Experience is everything. But if I do happen to be able to be a millionaire – wonderful!”
Ryan “Daddy” Richards: “I have not heard anything like that so I wouldn’t even know what to say. I’m just glad to be coming back.”
Tiffany Heinen was just straight up confused when RumorFix approached her on the topic, she adds, “I have no idea what’s going on with that.”
It seems the cast members are just grateful for the experience, with money being the last thing on their minds … for now.
