From her updated style to her new sound, Miley Cyrus has conclusively proven to the world that she is no longer Hannah Montana and that she cannot, or at least will not, stop promoting her awkward new brand anytime soon.
However, that is exactly what many critics, former fans, friends, and pretty much anyone who doesn't want to end up accidentally coated in her saliva, are calling for.
Fashion Police co-host Kelly Osbourne, a close friend of Miley’s, is speaking out against the former Disney star’s bizarre new style, calling for an end to her lizard licking once and for all.
Kelly, who famously defended Miley in the midst of early drug allegations, said of her pal’s VMA performance on Monday’s episode of her E! show, “I look at the performance and yes, I do have a lot of the same opinions as you guys about it,” referring to the less-than-favorable reviews Miley had earned for her gropey on-stage flailing.
"But we're not talking about her performance, we're talking about what she's wearing. This outfit Lady Gaga wore to the Grammy's three years ago when she came out of an egg," said Kelly.
"It's not that original but I do appreciate its reminiscent of the 'Blurred Lines' music video. It's just… Miley's my friend and I love her, and I have her back no matter what, but as her friend I'm going to tell her: Put your f--king tongue in your mouth. I love you, but just put your tongue in your mouth."
You say you can't stop, but please do give it the old college try.
