According to Celebuzz, J.R. and Diana Gonzalez-Jones — parents of 20-month-old daughter Lauryn Anabelle — have moved out of their Sherman Oaks, CA house, and it was recently sold for $670,000.
The timing is especially sad, since DWTS Season 13 champ J.R. and his girlfriend of four years had moved into that home right around the same time that they welcomed Belle. It was the launch of their little family. People talked to them in June 2012, just a month after the birth, when they were still unpacking. At the time, the proud father told People his daughter’s nursery was “the best room in the house.”
According to Celebuzz, the three-bedroom home has recently been updated — adding granite countertops and newer cabinets, with hardwood floors, a high-beamed ceiling and a floor-to-ceiling brick fireplace in the living room. Back in 2012, J.R. joked about sharing the home with two women: “I have no closet space.” Maybe that won’t be an issue in his next home.
J.R. and Diana met in 2008 after he joined the cast of All My Children, where she was working as an assistant to the show's executive producer. They started as friends and that blossomed into a romance. In fall 2011, the Iraq War veteran was cast on DWTS Season 13, which he won with Karina Smirnoff. The next spring, he welcomed his baby girl.
Check out photos of the house. Hopefully it’s still holding onto their happy memories.
