If you've always wondered if Real Housewives of Beverly Hills might be scripted, you're not the only one. New cast member Joyce Giraud assumed the same thing.
Joyce tells OK! Magazine that, when she first started filming the show, she was actually hoping that producers would tell her what to do.
"I thought that reality shows were guided, and when I got there, I remember thinking, 'Okay, when are they gonna tell us what to do?'" Joyce admits. "And I was just like, 'Hi! So what are we doing next?' And they're like, 'No, you just... whatever.'"
"And I'm like, 'What do you mean, whatever?'" Joyce continues. "I'm an actress — I'm used to, 'Gimme a script, let's memorize it, let's do it.' Or, gimme a direction — tell me, 'You're sitting there, you doing this.'"
"There is no guidance," she adds about the show. "I know a lot of people think it's fake and it's scripted - no! I can vouch firmly and say, what you see is what you get."
It's funny that Joyce herself assumed the show is scripted! We suppose it would be a lot easier on the ladies if there really was a script.
Are you surprised that Joyce thought she would be told what to do? And did you think RHoBH is scripted as well?
