Ben Affleck’s role might be playing a crime-fighting superhero, but that’s not all he’ll be doing this summer — his daddy duties are following him all the way to Detroit. In a recent interview with sports radio station 105.1 FM, wife Jennifer Garner revealed that the family will be sticking together while Ben’s busy being Batman.
“I’ll be there this summer,” Jen said. “Yep, all summer. Batman is shooting… or whatever it’s called. I don’t know what it’s called. Superman with Batman, or whatever it is. But he is shooting this summer, so we’ll be there.”
Actually, nobody knows what the movie is called — the Man of Steel sequel remains untitled for now.
Jennifer also dished on her latest role in Draft Day, where she stars alongside Kevin Costner to tell the story of the general manager of the Cleveland Browns as he tries to obtain the number one draft pick to save football in his state. And according to Jen, it’s a role she fought for because the movie is so well written.
“The NFL is 100% behind this movie. They love this movie,” Jennifer said. “They let us shoot in their facilities, they let us shoot at the draft day, they have given us every bit of access we could possibly hope for. They love it that much, and it’s a fantastic story.”
