In this week's tragic Courtland Rogers News, we learned that our favorite almost-famous Teen Mom 2 sidekick (aka Jenelle Evans's estranged husband) has a warrant out for his arrest. Why? Because he allegedly pawned three of his BFF's rings at a local North Cackalacky pawn shop. Yikes.
According to reports, Courtland used his ID to pawn the rings, so they were easily traced back to him (sigh, he's so smart!). Who knows what this dude is up to now that there's a warrant out for his arrest, but something tells us there's more to this story than meets the eye.
Courtland took it to Twitter before ditching social media to update his die-hard fans with a hopeful message, tweeting, "It isn't always what it seems .... Goodbye twitter."
Don't leave us Courtland, sob! It's hard to know what this man of mystery is referring to, but he's likely addressing rumors that he used the pawn shop money to support his drug habit. Here's to hoping this isn't the case, because poor Courtland only recently got sober — we'd hate for him to fall off the wagon and end up back in jail. Again.
Of course, there are many other reasons that Courtland may have needed quick cash. Maybe he owed rent money, maybe he had an auto emergency, or maybe he was just like "I need to ink a confederate flag on my forehead right now" and booked it to the nearest tattoo parlor. These are the things that keep us up at night.
Do you think there's more to Courtland's pawn shop drama than meets the eye? Tell us in the comments.
