It’s kind of impossible to love Grey’s Anatomy without being a huge fan of Denny Duquette. Okay, not so much when he appeared to Izzie (Katherine Heigl) as a pot-stirring apparition, but in his living days, he was a prince. And even though he wasn’t on the show for very long, we still miss him.
In the film, Jeffrey plays a man who decides to act as a racist border patrol when a group of illegal immigrants try to cross the border. This means we’ll definitely see Jeffrey in a whole new light — his character sounds nothing like the lovable Denny we know him as.
The film starts shooting in Baja, California in February, which means Jeffrey will be on set soon.
We’re expecting to see him in a totally different setting than a Grey’s hospital bed with Izzie at his side. Which, as far as we’re concerned, is a good thing — we want to cry every time we even think about that iconic scene.
Are you looking forward to seeing Jeffrey show off his acting chops again?
