We’ve long been trying to figure out how to get Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder on every television network in the country. While we’ve definitely still got some work to do, we’re getting closer by the day! In April 2014, Ian will be headed for Showtime in a new documentary titled Years of Living Dangerously.
The eight-episode series follows Ian and other celebrity correspondents as they work to find solutions for the “biggest threat our world has ever faced” — global warming. Teaming up with other famous faces such as Michael C. Hall and Matt Damon, Ian will travel to locations that have afflicted by this change and report on its crippling effects.
Alongside executive producer Jerry Weintraub and fellow correspondent Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ian promoted the docu-series at the 2014 Winter TCAs on January 16. As usual, Ian looked gorgeous as he talked about the project, donning an edgy leather jacket and his trademark sexy smirk.
We think his next venture should be figuring out how to transform every man into a hottie with a conscience like him!
