Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is headed to the Super Bowl, but you wouldn’t know it from the interview he gave to Erin Andrews Sunday night.
He went on a rant against San Francisco wide receiver Michael Crabtree saying, “When you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that’s the result you’re going to get. Don’t you ever talk about me. Don’t you open your mouth about the best, or I’ll shut it for you real quick.”
Erin was as confused as the rest of us — so she asked, “Who was talking about you?”
He didn’t answer, he just continued on his angry rant. When the game ended, Sherman ran over to Crabtree and smacked his butt and got in the 49ers player’s face. Then, Crabtree shoved him.
Erin was unfazed by the bizarre interview tweeting, “Richard Sherman gave a candid response seconds after an emotional game … looking forward to a great Super Bowl matchup.” Crabtree was a good sport, tweeting, “I take nothing away from that team and it was a tough fight out there.. I just have to thank the whole niner nation for the support..”
