Is a Grey Sloan Memorial doctor giving up, professionally or personally? It sure sounds like it, judging by the recently-revealed title for Season 10, Episode 15: "Throwing It All Away." (Our thanks to SpoilerTVfor the intel!)
But what could be thrown away? April's (Sarah Drew) engagement to Matthew (Justin Bruening)? Probably, but we expect her to ditch the well-meaning paramedic at the altar in the first few minutes of the spring premiere, Episode 13. Derek's (Patrick Dempsey) promise to let Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) shine in the spotlight? Perhaps — especially because the President just personally rang him up — and because Mer seems awfully upset with him in the promo for Episode 13. Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona's(Jessica Capshaw) relationship? Maybe — especially because they have some sort of big blowout after April's wedding.
And, true to form, the episode shares its title with a song. "Throwing It All Away" is the title of a ballad by British progressive rock band Genesis — the second single from their thirteenth album, Invisible Touch, and one that reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
(The episode title might also be a nod to the song "Throw It All Away" by Grey's favorite Brandi Carlile — a track which was featured in the Season 2 episode "What Have I Done to Deserve This.")
To what plot turn do you think the title refers? Speculate away in the comments below.
