Carla Facciolo, who was on the first three seasons of VH1’s Mob Wives, reveals exclusively to RumorFix why she left the reality show.
Carla tells our Real Mr. Housewife, “It’s traditional that when a show becomes famous, its stars are treated well. In this season, that was not the case. My legal team, producer, and VH1 couldn’t come up with a contract that was fair on both sides. In the end result, the producer decided not to put me back on the show.”
Refreshingly honest words from a reality star!
Carla says she doesn’t watch the show anymore and as for former castmate Renee Graziano, she says, “No comment. All I can say is that she should get some professional help.”
While the 46-year-old insists the fights on the show were “real fights,” she confesses she had recurring fights with Mob Wives producer Jennifer Graziano (Renee’s sister) over creating drama. “When a ‘producer’ sets you up behind scenes and creates havoc for her characters, it just shows me the type of person she really is and that doesn’t sit well with me,” she reveals.
Since leaving the show, Carla has been very busy with her Carla Facciolo Wines and creating Carla Facciolo soaps, a product line featuring various soaps and other bath/body products. For the soaps, she says, “My inspiration came from my outlook on life, which is caring for yourself and doing it in a natural way … I pick scents that women would love and some were favorites that I would use for myself.”
And since she grew up in an Italian family, she says wine was a part of her daily meals and that’s how the idea of being a winemaker came to her. “I was doing an appearance and I was approached by someone in the wine industry and started working with him,” she tells us. “He realized how much I appreciate wine and the whole culture, and we started on building my brand of Facciolo wines.”
So has Carla given up TV for good? She tells us she’s been approached by producers for other show, but for now she wants to build her brand and make sure everyone tastes her wine and prosecco.
Cheers to that!
