Losing weight can be a hard, uphill battle, but it sounds like it’s been especially rough for Rob Kardashian. The 26-year-old younger brother to Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney has been attempting to shed the more than 50 pounds he gained during his relationship and breakup with British singer/actress Rita Ora, with little success.
It’s been a year since Rob talked about his determination to lose the weight during a February appearance on Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, but it appears from recent photographs that he’s even heavier now than he was this time last year. The reason might be that Rob is reportedly battling depression.
A source close to Rob tells Us Weeklythat the Arthur George sock designer is “really depressed” these days. “He’s not as close with his family right now, and he won’t answer a lot of texts and calls from friends.”
In addition to shrugging off his loved ones, it sounds like Rob is giving the same treatment to his personal trainer. “Rob rarely shows up for their sessions,” the family insider claims. “He’s not losing any weight. The family is very concerned about him.”
We are, too! Here’s hoping he’s able to pull himself out of this funk soon.
