It was the episode Glee fans didn’t want to see, but they had to see — “The Quarterback.”
For many of the young people in the audience, it taught them how to grieve possibly for the first time in their lives.
Darren Criss acknowledged the need for fans to say goodbye to Cory Monteith’s Finn Hudson by tweeting, “Dearest Gleeks, saying goodbye is terribly difficult- we at
#glee have had our time. Tonight’s ep is not just for Cory, but for all of you.”
Kevin McHale confessed that the episode was a cathartic experience. “Tonights Glee was made out of a lot of love & a lot of tears by our incredible crew, cast & creators for our friend Cory. We miss you Cory,” he wrote.
Lea Michele, who delivered a powerful performance of “Make You Feel My Love,” reminded us all to donate to one of Cory’s favorite charities, which helps homeless and low-income folks to find and keep jobs.
