Christina Milian had quite a year in 2013. Not only did she leave her gig as social media correspondent for The Voice, but she competed on Season 17 of Dancing With the Stars as well. But the “Dip it Low” singer is turning her attention to planning her wedding to fiancé Jas Prince — and she knows exactly what she wants for her big day.
“I think something close to home,” Christina reveals to Life & Style. “And most importantly, just for our close family.”
Interesting choice, Christina. We would usually assume that celebs would make their wedding an A-list event, but we suspect this lady is keeping it on the down low because of 3-year-old daughter Violet, making the day just a little more special for the little family.
But just because Christina is opting for a family-only wedding, don’t expect there to be a super small guest list.
“[Jas] has a lot of family, so that’s probably one of the biggest things to consider. We’ll just find a good central place for everybody to meet,” she continues. “It’s going to end up being huge.” We hear you, girl.
We hope it’s huge enough to include her friends from The Voice and DWTS. You know what they say: “Ain’t no wedding like a wedding where Blake Shelton makes a drunken speech.” Or, you know, something like that.
Either way, we’re excited for Christina and Jas to finally swap those vows and shake their groove thangs at the reception.
