“Say Something” hit the airwaves and evoked strong reactions from music fans everywhere. It started off as a song by relatively new band A Great Big World, but eventually acquired Christina Aguilera’s amazing vocals. The harmonies and the song’s message tug on the heartstrings in a big way. Then the music video emerged, and we were all bawling like itty bitty babies. But have you ever seen a toddler react to music with a visceral reaction?
First, there was this wee one who was moved to tears and a quivering lip after hearing his mother sing. Now, we give you the YouTube viral video of Jackson, who could barely hold it together while listening to “Say Something” while driving in the car. Christina caught wind of the video, and posted it along with a note about her reaction, tweeting, “#LittleSensitiveSoul.”
The emotional little guy looked like he was wearing flying goggles. But once the tears started to flow, he had to put those up on his forehead to let the salty drops flow. Oh, the sweetness. His dad makes sure to check on the sensitive boy, asking him several times if he wants him to turn it off and even telling him to give him a “thumbs up” so he knows Jackson is okay. Of course, Jackson didn’t want him to turn off the moving song. Like all of us, he must like a little angst in his life.
Xtina has also mentioned being very moved by the song, which is why she had her manager call the guys from A Great Big World to request a collaboration.
“It’s so simple and it’s so quiet and still and steady and, in a way, pleading to hear something … to hear some kind of answer or get an answer in the most humble, unassuming, non-demanding way,” the pop diva said. What do you think of this video of little Jackson? Let us know in the comments!
