Legendary diva Cher will be adding a few more rhinestones to the set of Dancing With the Starsnext Monday, November 4.
The singer-actress will perform and serve as a guest judge for next week’s show, which will honor her epic music career. Cher will perform her hit “Believe” and the single “I Hope You Find It” from her upcoming album, “Closer to the Truth.”
While Cher will sit alongside Bruno and Carrie Ann at the judges table, there’s one thing she definitely won’t be doing: dancing. Pointing to a foot injury she sustained years ago, the singer says she’s out of commission when it comes to busting a move.
“Aren’t I old enough now not to be a contestant anymore,” the 67-year-old singer joked to People. “Haven’t I got past the contestant part?”
Cher is no stranger to the Dancing With the Stars set as she often played the part of proud mama in the audience, cheering on son Chaz Bono while he was a contestant in Season 13. This time around, though, Chaz will be the one cheering in the crowd.
“I am excited for it and he [Chaz] is too,” Cher said. “But like me, he is low-key and won’t get excited for it until that day. We are all low-key.”
