Trying to make it in the music business may not be for the faint of heart, but for Angie Johnson
, it's a piece of cake compared to the former Air National Guard staff sergeant's earlier career.
Serving in the military "was like basic training for my life," says Angie, who also competed on "The Voice." "There have been so many people who think they are in stressful situations and I'm like 'Really? Should I be stressed out right now because this is nothing like Afghanistan. I'm not wearing Kevlar and I'm not wearing body armor, so I'm good'. That is the perspective I carry with me," she tells The Boot.
